MISSION STATEMENT AND VISION FOR THE FUTURE OF ST PAUL'S


Our vision is our commitment to:

  •   Grow in faith and spiritual development
  •   Reach out to the local community and the community abroad
  •   Ensure that our worship services meet the needs of those who attend
  •   Revive St Paul's to become the centre of worship in the Port, and
  •   Maintain the Anglican tradition and heritage

    Worship – 'for the young and old'
    •   Sunday Services – Holy Communion
    •   Healing Services
    •   Evensong midweek with organ recitals
    •   Sharing in fun and fellowship with each other

    Our Outreach commitments include (and not limited to)
    •   Tira Appendi
    •   Archway, Port Adelaide
    •   Anglicare
    •   Mission to seamen

    We are keen to further develop and are committed to working for:
    •   Our children’s ministry
    •   Our youth ministry
    •   Prayer groups
    •   Pastoral care

    Our Resources
    •   A beautiful Church building, rich in heritage and tradition
    •   Historic pipe organ – used for worship, recitals and concerts
    •   A Parish Hall (recently refurbished) and used extensively by community groups

    As a congregation we need to and will continue to:
    •   Grow in faith
    •   Be welcoming and inclusive
    •   Reach out to those in need and care for each other
    •   Be committed to give some of our time, energy and resources to serve the community

    Our fellowship and fundraising activities include:
    •   Sharing a meal together
    •   Wine bottling
    •   BBQ's
    •   Concerts
